A Whiter Shade of Bach: Implications for Copyright and Publishing Law
The House of Lords have held that Matthew Fisher, who contributed the organ solo to the 1967 song A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum, was entitled to a share in future royalties despite waiting 38 years from the date the song was recorded to bring proceedings.
