| 15/12/09 | Lisa Allebone has qualified as a solicitor, after completing her training with Anderson & Company. Lisa is now an associate with the firm. |
| 18/10/09 | Mark has attended the WIPO 2-day course on arbitrating IP disputes, held in Geneva. This excellent course takes participants through the various stages of a WIPO arbitration and includes practical advice and comments from experienced WIPO arbitrators. Participants work through case examples, most of which concern commercial disputes with an IP element, eg concerning the interpretation of licence agreements and R&D collaboration agreements. |
| 25/09/09 | Our role in advising BioAnaLab Limited on its acquisition by Millipore Corporation (see the recent transactions page of our website) has featured in the latest issue of ACQ Finance Magazine (volume 8 issue 4). We were offered a "deal of the year" slot in the December issue of the magazine. |
| 04/09/09 | We have been informed by Chambers Directory that, in its 2010 edition, Anderson & Company will be listed as an expert in the Life Sciences: Commercial category, and that Mark will be listed as an individual expert in this category. This follows our first application to be listed. The 2010 edition will be published in November. | 20/03/09 | Our latest book (looseleaf work), Drafting Agreements in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries, has now been published by Oxford University Press. See the books page of our website for further details. |
| 05/12/08 | Our competition to find a typo in our new brochure has now closed. We received 17 valid entries before the closing deadline. The winner (chosen using a random number generator) was Helen Brannan. A bottle of champagne will be sent to Helen - congratulations! |
