Stephen Brett is a Trustee for the Oxford based charity Oxford Business X (OBX). OBX uses donations received from local entrepreneurs to run an enterprise programme open to secondary schools in Oxfordshire. The programme gives pupils the opportunity to develop their own entrepreneurial project by providing them with mentors to help them prepare a business plan. The pupils then have two chances to deliver their pitch to a dragon’s den style panel. If their pitch succeeds, OBX makes a loan to support the pupils in setting up and running their own businesses.
