We have advised universities and other research organisations on contracts and other legal matters for many years. Our "bread and butter" work for such organisations includes research contracts, collaboration agreements, EC Framework consortium agreements, CDAs, MTAs, term sheets, option and evaluation agreements, pipeline agreements, consultancy agreements, and due diligence work. Licensing and spin-out transactions are discussed elsewhere.
We have seconded our lawyers on a part-time basis to work with the research contracts groups of several leading UK universities.
